Introduction

Le temps est essentiel à la configuration des relations de pouvoir qui caractérisent les sociétés contemporaines. Il constitue l'élément central autour duquel s'articulent le travail, le loisir, la justice, la mémoire, les rapports sociaux de sexe et tout autre type de rapport de pouvoir. Toutes les activités humaines se retrouvent au cœur d'arrangements temporels (Zerubavel 2020). Le projet éditorial de cette revue est de répondre à deux questions : quelle est la place du temps social et des temporalités dans la production des sociétés contemporaines ? Comment les mutations des sociétés contemporaines favorisent-elles l'émergence de nouvelles temporalités ?

Time is central to the configuration of power relations that shape contemporary societies. It is the element around which work, leisure, justice, memory, gender relations, and other forms of power relations are organized. Human activities are embedded in temporal arrangements (Zerubavel 2020). The editorial project of this journal is guided by two questions: what place do social time and temporalities occupy in the production of contemporary societies? How do the transformations of contemporary societies foster the emergence of new temporalities?
